Gigi-Gigi 5 Posted October 22, 2016 I feel the same way, like my body just want to sleep. I notice when I changed my multi Vitamin. At first I was taken the chewables (they made me threw up). I switched to the Gummy Vitamin they are real good, I can hold them down. It's been three days of the switch. That's when I notice I was feeling tired. I haven't changed my regiment of Protein. thejiffer 43 Posted October 22, 2016 How's your B-12? If you're not already supplementing, maybe check with your doc to see if it would be a good idea.
Pescador 1,374 Posted October 23, 2016 Have your doctor do bloodwork if you think you are deficient in Vitamins. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
blizair09 3,250 Posted October 24, 2016 I get tired a lot, too, but I figure it is just part of it. Some days are definitely worse than others, though. (And there is no rhyme or reason to it!)
atontor 1,068 Posted October 24, 2016 Definitely check your B12 and have some blood work done. I felt like that in the first 3 months now I'm trying to sleep more. I get 5 hours. I'm up at 4am everyday for the gym or to go biking. I use Multivitamin patch from PatchMD and a monthly b12 injection from my dr. . The last two pictures were from last night and today. byebyedarkpassenger 203 Posted October 26, 2016 (edited) I was what I consider severely tired for about 6 months postop. At first needed 3-4 small naps a day just to get through it, and it went down to 1 short nap/day (preceded by a bone-weary fatigue that really incapacitated me) for the next 6 months. I'm 14 months out and realized recently that I have more nap-less days than days when I need a nap. So improving slowly but surely. I did have to up my B12 which was low normal and I think that helped. Also started having a morning coffee and I suspect that helped too.
