Isn't tylenol generic name acetaminophen? So you just doubled up? I'm dealing with this right now and wanted to know. My doctor gave my tramadol post op and tylenol 3 with codine. I've had to go back to the t3.

Tylenol IS acetaminophen! Tylenol is just a brand name! Tramacet is Tramadol and acetaminophen.

That's what I was thinking!

Be very careful when combining meds containing acetaminophen. The MAX dose is 4000g per day total of all drugs combined. Acetaminophen can do a real number on your liver so just be very careful.

So when you get your Menstrual periods, what do you guys take for cramp pains???

I see we cannot take ibuprofen, midol, or Motrin? Any suggestions besides tylenol????

Since I had the my surgery in August my menstrual periods are so painful. I know we are not suppose to take Aleeve & Midol but I have to for the first 2 days. I have to rotate them every 2-4 hours. I never had menstrual cramps like this before.
