ljohns86 3 Posted December 25, 2016 That's too bad! Hug a pillow when you have to sneeze next time and see if that helps. I haven't been home to weigh myself since Thursday, but at that point I was 10 days post-op and down 15lbs. And btw I'm Susie Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Yes weight lose has been going well I am about 13 days post op. I am going to start traveling with my pillow because that pain right there is unbeatable ... Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
myfanwymoi 102 Posted December 26, 2016 I was the 17th. Healed enough for first bath tonight - awesome but didn't soak long Finding the liquids surprisingly ok.. preferring broths to shakes but harder to get the Protein in. Worst bit : self injecting clexane anticoagulant. Best bit: 5kg gone in 8 days Enjoy... the best is yet to come!! _Mini_Me_ 133 Posted December 31, 2016 Is anyone else having that strange dizzy/lightheaded/foggybrained feeling after surgery? I can't seem to shake it Lapband revision to gastric bypass on 12-14-2016 Weight day of surgery: 308.2 lbs Current weight: 300.8 Total weight loss: 7.4 lbs I had mine on the 27th and feeling that way, plus nauseous. ginabee38 91 Posted January 2, 2017 My name is Mario. It's almost debilitating when I sneeze. I have lost 25 pounds since surgery ... I am extremely tired of broths and ready to try soft and puree food can't wait until the 3rd of January for my post op. Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App Sneezing really hurt! It finally felt better after about 9 days post-op. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using the BariatricPal App
ginabee38 91 Posted January 2, 2017 I just had sleeve surgery on 12/23 and I'm feeling pretty good. I have a pain on my left side, under one of my larger incisions, but other than that, I'm doing pretty well. How are you all doing? I was sleeved on 12/23/16 and I still forget and eat too fast. Yesterday, I did it agsin wuth a hard-boiled egg. Did you get the "slimies", as I call them (it's gross, but it's a build-up of thick, clear mucus)? Nothing except spitting it up will help. Quite a learning curve!
