@"mallnut" thanks for your insight. I usually measure and weight my food;use small plates, and baby utensils. So when I see people say two bites and I'm full I'm getting scared. I'm averaging 2-4 depending on the foods. Softer foods can be more than chunkier. Everything I eat is Protein base.

I'm now just over a year out. I also had this concern. However, just because you can, doesn't mean you should. It isn't about how much you can fit in your new tiny tummy, but how little can you eat and be satisfied. I strongly suggest you measure and follow your program. You won't regret it.

So I'm 2 weeks post op (sleeve) and I'm on mushy foods. I really have no problem getting down the 4oz my doctor recommends. I even had 5oz of mashed potatoes. Think anything is wrong?

Oh and one of the best things to eat is wonton broth with pastina in it...just a little FYI

My plan is 1-2 ozs working up to 4 ozs by week 6. It's important to measure and stick with your recommended portions. Take advantage of this time to learn better eating habits - don't rely on your stomach to tell you when to stop eating. Protein is first - so unless you are getting all your Protein before having potatoes or pastina - I'd reconsider your choices. Pasta of any kind can trigger more cravings for carbs.

Volume and Weight are two totally different things, so it does matter how you measure.

Yes they are different. My comment was based on the puree stage which I found didn't matter with how I measured. Solids are a different story.
