Surgery in 2 weeks and I start my pre op diet tomorrow. 11 days of high Protein, like I've been doing. I will have only 3 days of liquids. I'm super excited but nervous too!!!

My surgery is also November 1st! Mine is at 7:30 am. I start my liquid diet on the 25th. Im super nervous.

Congrats. Im 12 days post op. I remember my 14 day liquid diet. It was so much easier to get through than i thought. You know what kept my mind from wondering back to food, my people on here and the adult coloring books. Im hooked and i even took 1 to the hospital

Thank you everyone! The anxiousness of it all hit me full force last night, but I'm better today. I am fortunate in my pre-op diet that I still get to eat until the 28th. I do hope to lose 5 to 6 lbs more before surgery. For you all who are having surgery the same day as me, CONGRATULATIONS and you got this! For the veterans, thank you so much for your encouraging words and wisdom.

Today is my 8th day with the Protein liquid diet. I have horrible constipation too... I dont know what med to take.

Have you been drinking Water? You might want to take milk of magnesium to release the bowels.
