ella37 455 Posted October 20, 2016 (edited) Everything went ok. Struggling to get liquids down a little and very gassy once that goes away i think I will be ok. Sent from my SM-G935P using the BariatricPal App That's great! Did you try the Gas X strips? They REALLY helped me. I know some people say that they can't help because the OR gas is different than gas from digestion, but my doctor said they would help and they did. It makes sense because they want you to burp and fart after surgery to get rid of it, lol. I only had bad gas pain briefly and I used 4 in a row and it was gone within like 30 mins. Walking definitely helped as well. The liquids are tough at first, I didn't meet my minimum until day 3. If you're still in the hospital and getting IV hydration then I wouldn't worry too much. h.brooks661989 50 Posted October 20, 2016 I just went and got the strips hopefully they work. Everytime i sip it feels like its getting stuck then just moves down. How long does this last? Sent from my SM-G935P using the BariatricPal App
