I bought the GENEPRO. I'm 2 weeks post op and using it to supplement. I'm drinking premier Protein shake, eating cottage cheese and Greek yogurt to get Protein as well. I'm not sure if it's a scam as I have read both sides. How can you tell who is telling the truth. I will ask dietician at my one month post op appointment. But I figure at this point as long as it's giving me some extra protein and doesn't have too much taste it's better than nothing.

I read the reviews too. I didn't get it because I was skeptical so I chose Syntrax nectar unflavored

Kblanc I recommend Inspire Protein. I just bought the blueberry cheesecake, the Mexican chocolate, and the Peanut Butter cookie Protein Powder shake mix. So you mix one scoop to 4 ounces of Water or almond milk whatever your preference. It only has 20 g of Protein but then again it's only 4 ounces and it's very thin and it's easy to drink it taste great! I also ordered the premade coffee drinks they offer I thought the really good hope you give them a try good luck

I LOVE GENEPRO!!!! I have been using it for almost 4 months now. I add it to my coffee. Which I am a hard core coffee drinker so using the GENEPRO is a win win for me!! As far as Isopure I commend anyone that can handle it!! YUKKY I only wish I had found GENEPRO a long time ago. As I'm 3 years out and I would definitely hate to know how much money I have spent on different Protein drinks!!

I've tried just about every Protein on the market, and the one I like the very best is TLS. It mixes easily and tastes really good -- 2 choices and the whey has more Protein. I add a product called MochaTonix to it, which helps with my energy levels and it adds a few more grams of protein. You can get them at this site: http://www.forbariatricpatientsonly.org/

      Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.
