James Marusek 5,244 Posted October 17, 2016 After surgery my taste buds changed and many things were difficult to eat or drink. Many Protein shakes tasted terrible. In the end I used Muscle Milk Light (vanilla creme) Protein powder blended with Water with a half a banana. This is what worked for me. But the main key is to experiment until you find something that works for you.
snowbaby22! 0 Posted October 17, 2016 I have never tried Protein drinks with Water just milk, I guess to scared to make changes. Might have to try also. I am terrible about getting Protein in. I tried Isopure but too much of the whey taste for me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

laliza 45 Posted October 17, 2016 Kblanc I recommend Inspire Protein. I just bought the blueberry cheesecake, the Mexican chocolate, and the Peanut Butter cookie Protein Powder shake mix. So you mix one scoop to 4 ounces of Water or almond milk whatever your preference. It only has 20 g of Protein but then again it's only 4 ounces and it's very thin and it's easy to drink it taste great! I also ordered the premade coffee drinks they offer I thought the really good hope you give them a try good luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
