Is this yogurt okay to eat? Nutritional info below.

It has no corn Syrup and is low calorie, at 40. I'd add some Protein powder and turn it into a really great snack.< /p>

Is greek-style yogurt available in Canada? I never even both with traditional yogurt any more because greek is so high in Protein. In the US, we can buy Oikos Triple Zero greek yogurt, it's my go-to now. I also like Fage plain greek yogurt.

And despite some opinions, sugar-free popsicles are only 15 calories each and thus are a relatively harmless sweet, cold item. You can make your own with any sugar-free drink and popsicle molds.

Aside from the liquid diet I wasnt told anything had to be sugar free....if it was under 10 grams or sugar and under 10 of fat you are fine....most of our Protein will come from potein powders and shake because it's very hard to consume all Protein we need through a regular diet.... so use a Isopure zero or low carb Protein Powder and in 1 1/2 shakes I have gotten 75 grams of protein and any other protein I get is just extra

Sent from my HTC6500LVW using the BariatricPal App

Is this what your dietitian told you? Because I'm 4 months post-op and only supplement with powder in my morning coffee...I'm getting 90-110 grams of protein a day, with up to 80 grams of that from real food. It absolutely can be done, just takes some planning and practice.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
