Guest Posted November 2, 2016 @@Cbrewington AWESOME!!! That is so cool that you have your BFF going with you. I will go it alone, for some reason meeting (on here) many that have gone thru alone and in Mexico, I am starting to get some relief. I had started process in Mexico last week, I told them Jan 10 but don't have the definite date yet....they said that date was available. Did you already book flights or waiting til closer? Cbrewington 19 Posted November 2, 2016 @Ginsin007 I work for an airline so we will be non reving to San Diego. Which surgeon did you choose? From what I hear, going alone you will be just fine!
Guest Posted November 2, 2016 @@Cbrewington I picked Dr. Garcia and have been communicating with Alisha. Lucky you working for the airlines, I always wanted to. I was a pt travel agent back in the day.

Guest Posted December 2, 2016 Countdown, 5 weeks (and a few days) and 6 for you. I think that time is starting to fly by. Still excited and nervous. The only thing I am truly dreading is the flying back. I wish I had a direct flight but others have done it, so can I. redheadjo 63 Posted December 3, 2016 My surgery is the 7th of December and the flight home is my biggest fear as well. I went "all in" and decided on a one way flight/first class... Never flown first class in my life.. and I'll probably sleep most of the 4 hours home! lol! Excited! Wishing it was here already!
Guest Posted December 3, 2016 Trust me, if I was going on one flight to a decent city I would have done first class. The last time I got first class it wasn't my idea of first class. In the smaller planes, I still had to deal with people entering by us to board to economy, the storage above us wasn't the real big areas, and neither www as our seating. When you fly from large major airport to another, it is totally worth it. I was so disappointed last time I was treating my husband, and it sucked for us. casondra 1 Posted December 9, 2016 I just had surgery with Dr. Garcia on Saturday. It was a great experience and nurses and doctors are very attentive. Flight home was very uncomfortable. Sent from my LG-H820 using the BariatricPal App
