elle2769 1 Posted October 16, 2016 I was sleeved 9/12 and have so far lost 21lbs (Yay!) but haven't lost any in the last 10 days (frustrating!). Was wondering, when other sleevers experienced their first stall...and how long it lasted. I've been walking but have transitioned to mushy/soft solids but havd not exceeded daily caloric guidance...but maybe just transitioning after liquids made me stop? Thanks!! Just hoping it picks up again, I still want to lose another 30-40lbs. ???? Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App
MALA215 5 Posted October 16, 2016 I was sleeved 8/31 and have lost 24 lbs post-op. They say you lose about 20 lbs the first month and then 2 lbs a week after that. I think you're right on track. When I hit my one month mark I stalled for about 10-14 days. I have to tell you that eventhough my scale isn't changing I am getting thinner everyday! I am losing inches and melting away. Keep in mind excercise builds muscle. Sent from my SM-G920P using the BariatricPal App
suzzzzz 1,005 Posted October 16, 2016 First stall was at about 2.5 weeks. It was the first of many. I do t let them bother me much any more. It is what it is. As long as I stick to my plan, the weight will come off.
Jen-2+1 131 Posted October 16, 2016 I lost for about nine days, then bounced back and forth a pound for about nine days, now am back to losing. I am definitely losing inches, it is just my body adjusting.

Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App I am not sure when I experienced my first stall because I only weighed at doctors appointments early out. But, just about everyone experiences a stall about three weeks after surgery. Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. Sai 785 Posted October 16, 2016 The first 10 days of my surgery. My weight did not change at all. My body likes to hang on to every single drop of Water, I swear ugh. Since then I'm going on wk 7 and no stalls as of yet.
elle2769 1 Posted October 16, 2016 Thank you everyone! It's easy to get discouraged or think you "broke" something ???? Fingers crossed it will start again, soon. Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App
cheryl417 12 Posted October 17, 2016 Stalled after first 6 weeks. Sadly, haven't lost any more in 3 months. Sent from my SM-N930V using the BariatricPal App
lizardqueen 56 Posted October 17, 2016 I stalled on my 5th week and it lasted 10 days. I know its expected and happens to everyone but that doesn't make it less frustrating. You are doing everything right, staying within the nutritional guideline and exercising, and no loss on the scale!! Ugh!! But it's part of the process and we will have to be ready for more of these. I believe I came out of the stall by increasing my calories but don't know for sure. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
vamping 183 Posted October 17, 2016 Sleeved on 8/30. Stopped losing for a few days 6 weeks. Then lost a pound and regained and lost the same pound for a few more days. Lost another pound, but am back up a pound. I am following my plan, so I'm not worrying about it.
mr1121 59 Posted October 17, 2016 @cheryl1417 what did your doc say about your stall? Have you been getting your PROTIEN? Not giving up, right?? I'm sure the doc should have some sort of idea how to jump start it again??? Michelle Rose Spring TX 77373 Email: mr110726@gmail.com
