AshNic 4 Posted October 15, 2016 Hey everyone, When I started my journey, my weight was 247.5 I am now 241.5 and I can't go below 241. Any advice on how to stay about the same weight? I have my last Dr. App on the 25th and my surgery will be in November. I am nervous but excited to be healthier!
rolosmom7 740 Posted October 15, 2016 I mean, this certainly is NOT a healthy recommendation, but if you're that concerned, if you eat/drink more calories than you burn you'll gain back weight. You're 10 days away, so maybe bulk up the calories just for a few. But again - not the healthiest thing. Sometimes we gotta do what we gotta do.
Who'sThere 331 Posted October 15, 2016 I'm assuming this is to meet insurance requirements? If I have to do the 6 month supervised weight loss attempt, I will not be approved if I lose 10% of my body weight. For me, that's 27 pounds. I don't think I could lose 27 pounds in 6 months on my own. Yours, however, seems to be a very small margin. Is this to stay under BMI requirements? I'd have to lose a LOT to fall below the BMI reuqirements. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using the BariatricPal App
Sai 785 Posted October 15, 2016 I log my food everyday, calories/carbs/fat... etc, It helps a lot and great for daily reflection. See what your normal average calorie/carb input is, and try to keep it in the same range or change things up if you want to lose more.
GBaygurl 29 Posted October 15, 2016 My surgeon got mine approved a couple months early. I had to lose 36 and I'm about at 46 and surgery is on Oct 27. If ur surgery is next month it should already be approved and shouldn't matter if you keep losing Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using the BariatricPal App

AshNic 4 Posted October 20, 2016 @@GBaygurl, I'm doing a 3 month waiting period. Where I start and I have to keep it up for 3 months like exercise and then I will be approved.
