Boudala 27 Posted October 14, 2016 Has anyone tried this? And added it to Soups? Is it better than adding unflavored Protein Powder? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
jenjenp 63 Posted October 14, 2016 I bought it to drink as is. It's ok. Better if it were added to something. Just remember not too hot or it will look like scrambled eggs. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Dawnislas 74 Posted October 14, 2016 powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury has an unflavored Protein that is really good. I add it to my yogurt. I have actually tried several including the chicken Soup and are very good. I will be buying several tubs on my next order. heidikat72 935 Posted October 14, 2016 I liked the chicken Soup flavor - I would make it with warm Bone Broth (bone broth has a little more Protein than regular chicken broth). You do have to closely follow the instructions with regard to tempterature - too hot and it will clump and be gross. It was a nice warm savory change from the cold sweet shakes
mrssoupmix 61 Posted October 14, 2016 I bought it because it sounded good. I had some in my pre-op phase and thought it was "ok." Now I can't tolerate it. It kinda gags me.
rolosmom7 740 Posted October 14, 2016 There's recipes on the Unjury site. Haven't done any with the chicken, but put the unflavored in anything I can. Specifically Jello.
ella37 455 Posted October 14, 2016 @@mrssoupmix me too. this was one of the first things i tried when i got home because i did think it wasn't too bad pre op. i hated it after surgery. i couldn't get down one bite. ive been getting most of my Protein through shakes but have used "better than bullion" as a clear liquid. it's really good but i only use 1/2 the recommended amount because it's very strong. mrssoupmix 61 Posted October 15, 2016 Syntax nectar have been my saving grace. I can't stomach the premium Protein, anymore either. I got a sample pack and have already bought some tubs of favorites. The mix with Water ones don't dissolve so well, but I like mixing with milk anyway for the extra Protein. strawberry mousse and double stuffed cookie were exceptionally yummy. I like Optifast best honestly, but not enough protein compared to others.

HW 427 SW 358 sleeved 10/12/16 Do you have some favorite flavors? I like the fruits better than the sweets. strawberry kiwi and lemonade are my tops. The only ones I didn't like were lemon tea, espresso, and plain strawberry. Also, I would do double stuffed cookie with almond milk instead of Water.

Definitely going to order some If you call the customer service number and choose the bariatric option, they have a one time sample pack you can order. They send you 15 single shake servings for $15 plus 1.99 shipping. That lets you try 15 of the 17 flavors that they offer. That's how I started with them. My nut recommended it.
