metoo 0 Posted September 6, 2007 Hi all, I have just come accross the site by chance...... wow what a find! Its so nice to read that others are experiencing the same as me at this time. The op was fab, appetite declined immediately but last 2 weeks or so I have been soooooooooooooooooo hungry and have regained some of the weight I had lost pre-op, starting to fear failure etc. etc. seem to have lost a lot of my positivity I just hope it all changes again tomorrow after inflation? angeleyes32 0 Posted September 6, 2007 I get my first fill on the 17th. I am at a standstill as well and my appetite keeps increasing as the days go by. I was told by my physician that I may regain some of the weight I have lost until my first fill. Hang in there. I am anticipating a big change after the fill. metoo 0 Posted September 6, 2007 Thanks......I know its silly but you automatically think its only you that this happens to and its all going to go wrong......It's so frustrating I know it is no quick fix or miracle cure but its the constant battle with my appetite that I just want to stop. I hope I do notice a difference fairly quickly following the first inflation tomorrow, wait and see I guess. Good luck with yours I am sure we will post again next month sying how everything has improved.
kimmy 0 Posted September 6, 2007 Hello there... I am getting my first fill on the 27th of August and I am soooo excited. Lately I have been able to increase my food volume and I am concerned about gaining weight. I have started exercising to try to balance it out. It's nice to hear others worried about wieght gain during this time. I weigh 205 (only here do you freely publish that info, I love it!) I have been staring at those pesky 6 lbs because I desperetly would love to fall below the 200's. I love this website, it's great. I really like how the experienced bandsters share their victories, it's very inspiring. Good luck you guys with your fills, I am envious you are ready for them!!!!! metoo 0 Posted September 6, 2007 your right...............it was so nice going for surgery for once not worrying about my size and how I look! I guess they will get me on the scales again tomorrow? I am looking forward to the fill I really want to get this working. Very best wishes to you too, like you say it is so nice to communicate with others who totally understand.
