How do I edit my profile?

Honestly I don't know how to do it on a phone, it is much easier to do on a computer. On my laptop I go up to the top and see my name. It says "hello laceemouse" with a picture of a gear next to it. I click on that and then am given the option of updating my settings.

Ok stupid question, I am pretty new here but I give what I would call quite a bit of my knowledge. However I don't know how to see my posts and the responses to my posts. Can either of you explain what I am missing?
