tanya0974 24 Posted October 11, 2016 Hi there! Sleeved 10/4 and down 11 pounds. I understand what to eat/drink during each phase but when I go to full foods after a month, I honestly do not have time to think about what to make for dinner. My lifestyle has been hectic lately. I travel for work and when I get home, I don't want to think...sounds strange, I know. Is meal delivery service an option? I have seen some meal delivery services such as Home Chef or Blue Apron, Freshly where there are high Protein, low carb meals ready to make at home. Any suggestions would be helpful Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
GACaldwell 112 Posted October 12, 2016 I tried a free trial of Hello Fresh this week. Can't say I was super impressed. Lots of carbs in the things they sent...Tortilla wraps, rice & Pasta. It was the classic box and there is an option for "fit" meals but the amount of food for what it would have cost was astronomical. just my experince so far! OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted October 12, 2016 @@tanya0974 Nope, it is a waste of money. All the stuff is loaded with carbs and you are going to end up wasting money.
OneLostFyrEMT 0 Posted October 14, 2016 I loved hello fresh. Just need to set it up the way you want it. -Cyn
perspectiveiseverything 105 Posted October 17, 2016 I use Blue Apron and like it. Pre-op it was easy to choose easily adaptable recipes and make mine low-carb (the rest of the family would eat as is). I am 12 days post-op now and still on full liquids so not eating the meals, but they have still been great for my family because I don't have to think about what I am going to feed them (it arrives, we fix it). That said, if I didn't have a family to feed it wouldn't be worth it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
OneLostFyrEMT 0 Posted October 17, 2016 Blue Apron was a little too fancy for me. Hello Fresh boxes their stuff differently. I tried both and just liked it more. -Cyn
