BariatricGirl 4Life 39 Posted October 31, 2016 I'm in November buddies. My surgery is November 1st just two more days. I have been on a two week liquid diet. Not as bad as I expected. My husband has been tremendously supportive. He doesn't eat around me. The thing for me is to keep busy. I'm a "boredom" eater. The great news?....I am already cutting BP medication dosages in half!.....insulin had to be reduced by 30% off a diuretic all together. This is going to be sooo worth it. Not to mention how great we will feel and look!! My surgery will be in Viera Florida. Any other Florida people? My prayer is that we all succeed in our goal to be healthier. God Bless. tinkrbll 23 Posted November 1, 2016 Mine is scheduled for Nov 28th. I've already done 2 weeks preop diet in hopes of a Halloween surgery but that didn't happen. Pam924 84 Posted November 6, 2016 November 16th here ..... 1.5 weeks remaining on 4 week liquid/raw vegetable diet .... mostly good .... a few ounces of cheese, one mini candy bar, and I have cooked the vegetables a few times. Dr casually mentioned he nicked my liver... spend 2 days in a hotel room feeling like I was going to die the pain was so bad. Had a drain in. Passed some God awful used motor oil looking bile... thank God the drain was there for that... still feeling a little rough, it's slowly getting better. Watching for fever and praying for no leaks.
