My pain has been great no meds really needed but 3 times since I had surgery a week ago, I've either turned over or trying to sit from laying position, left side a little below the waist line burns like fire. PortlandGirl 11 Posted October 10, 2016 Yup! That's my sore spot too. If I move too fast it reminds me. Not burning, but a lovely sharp pain. Weird thing my left thigh gets really numb...like I could get a huge tattoo and probably not feel it...that may be too much as it turns to pins and needles as well. Mindy78 372 Posted October 10, 2016 Its a burny sharp pain after I'm OK. Not severe enough for a pain pill because it goes away but definitely ouch don't move like that again. I've lost a total of 48 lbs to date since January 18.5 since I started the liquid diet I'm 9 days post op. I already had a little hangage in my stomach area when I turn at night I feel like my cushion there is gone and it flops a bit.
