Post op vitamins advise

Recommended Posts

BariatricPal fusion chewable has everything in it you need. No need for extra Calcium, Biotin, b12....it has it all! Recommended by my surgeon and all my levels at 6 mos. are excellent. Take 2 in the morning and 2 in afternoon/evening and you are good to go. Comes in a bunch of different flavors too.

For the Calcium I was told 500 mcg 3 times a day at least 2 hrs apart. It's this the same amount in the one you take and do you know if it would be absorbed differently by taking at different times?

Here is my understanding about vitamns. What my surgeons office informed me to do, buy a chewable one a day multi, and some type of calcium citrate, I already take a Vitamin d3 prescribed. What else? Is this wrong? Are there more I will need to take??

My Dr recommended any Multivitamin that's chewable or dissolvable. I use Nature Made Vitamelts. Got them of Amazon for about 6.00. They taste good. They more in them than some I looked at. I also found a dissolvable Biotin at costco. It's good too.
