Mary Burdick 18 Posted October 10, 2016 I've been having great progress since my surgery in May, but I'm my last bloodwork they discovered that I'm now showing signs that suggest Hypoparathyroidism, they told me to take some Calcium. Which I have begun, their only other instructions were that they would monitor it and keep an eye on that. Just wondering if its something to be concerned about, or am i blowing it out of proportion? Havasumoma 250 Posted October 10, 2016 I would Google and learn all I could. Thyroid function is VERY important. Sent from my LGLS992 using the BariatricPal App
WLSResources/ClothingExch 3,444 Posted October 10, 2016 (edited) Nothing wrong with doing some research and asking your doctor to clarify anything that you may not understand. It's the responsible thing to do. How is wanting to know the meaning of a diagnosis the same as "blowing it out of proportion?"
