kmorri 1,689 Posted October 11, 2016 Some surgeon's test for nicotine prior to surgery. My surgeon refused to operate on any one who was smoking. Smoking can cause problems with the healing process as well as problems with your respiratory system during surgery. Make sure your surgeon knows you've been smoking so all precautions can be taken.....Good luck to you!
dnlnext 23 Posted October 12, 2016 I don't smoke but, I was told no smoking at all due to the healing process. I also seen a post somewhere on here a surgeon had postponed the operation. Please keep us posted on the outcome and your journey ahead. FYI I get sleeved on 10-20 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
