Autumn Riley Arnold 92 Posted October 9, 2016 I'm almost 5 weeks post surgery and I still haven't hit a stall yet. I thought it was supposed to happen at 3 weeks. I know it's weird to want to stall but now I'm afraid I'll lose too fast and end up getting gallstones. Any incite on this?
suzzzzz 1,005 Posted October 9, 2016 Ha ha. What a great question. Everyone loses weight differently depending on multiple factors. I had first stall at 2 weeks, and then have had multiple ones after that. Expecting another one soon. When I was much younger I would diet and lose quickly with no stall. Don't know what to say about your gall bladder. Have you asked your surgeon about losing too fast? Certainly wouldn't hurt.
Candygyrl 637 Posted October 10, 2016 im 3 months post op. I haven't really experienced a stall yet. I have some weeks where I lose a small amount like 1 lb but its still a loss. Close to my cycle like now I tend to hover back and forth 2 lbs. for about a week even 2. After, I'll have a larger loss like 5-8lbs. My losses have been steady. Embrace it! I understand we only have about 9-12 months to lose like this after that it slows down significantly. I plan to take full advantage and reach under goal within that time. That way-- I can work on maintainence.
