Just received several gift cards to Starbucks. I have not had any coffee but I was wondering. LATER ON much later (surgery 9/27) is there anything I can order at Starbucks? Or that I could add my Protein shake to? Thank you!

I have been able to have Decaf immediately after my surgery. I'm 9 weeks post-op and I have a decaf latte with soy or almond milk and one of the sugar free coffee syrups at Starbucks. Usually I do caramel. Of course no whip! I have no problem with this.

I am 9 weeks out and I have had Halo Top ice cream. A 1/2 cup has 6-7 g of Protein. It's a bit more expensive but I love that I get Protein from it.

I also have HALO, depending on flavor, it averages about 280 calories for the full pint. I usually get about 4 servings per pint. (I'm 5 weeks out from surgery)

Is there any place you can buy halo other than a whole food store

I've also bought it at Ralph's, though I found more flavors at Whole Foods. On their website they have a location finder, so you could check to see where it's available in your area. It is pricier than other pints, but I've felt it was worthwhile.

Be sure to let it sit on your countertop for a few minutes to let it soften because it takes a bit longer to reach a creamy consistency.
