Just want to take a bite of solid food

Recommended Posts

Please use your common sense.

Eating sticky candy two weeks out, before beeing cleared for pureed and soft foods is an invite for complications. Even at the pureed and soft food stage, candy is not allowed.

With that mindset you could eat chocolate for your liquid stage, since it melts in your mouth. But is it in accordance with your plan? I bet not.

Your nut most likely wants you to eat a healthy, hi Protein and low carb diet. It never includes sweets!! Candy is hi carb and empty calories and can get stuck in your staples. Ask your surgeon or nut for their opinion if you don't believe me or the other people trying to help you.

And this is a public forum where the vets are very helpful. You might want to listen to the people who succeeded already. They did it right.

I wish you luck and hope you don't end up with the people who didn't take advantage of their wls and didn't lose weight or gained it back, at the bad end of the percentage spectrum.

You have to work for it.

I was instructed to use Flinsto nd Vitamins?

flinstone vitamins tend to be chewables.

I passed on them because most of the mv's I found contained Calcium carbonate.

So I went with Jamieson chewable mv's w/o calcium and take calcium separately.

Having no luck finding calcium citrate chewables anywhere. Found liquid calcium carbonate in liquid form but far more expensive than its worth and tastes like barium Fluid.
