nsunga 0 Posted October 8, 2016 I'm day 5 post-op and the big incision where they removed my stomach is still in a massive amount of pain. When I walk it's the worst feeling ever. aligator517 60 Posted October 8, 2016 I found that when I was in the first week it wasn't so much incision pain as I originally thought but rather pain on my left side between incisions. This is where the "heavy lifting" was done in surgery, so internal recovery is often hardest in that spot. bia1nca1 38 Posted October 8, 2016 I'm 10 days post-op, and the big incision still is sore but getting better everyday. To get in and out of bed was the worse. The New Kel 1,312 Posted October 10, 2016 I am 6 days post op, and I have pain in the largest incision area which is on my right side about 6 inches below my breast. It hurts when I get up from sitting mostly. And bending over. I think its normal, but it does worry me as well sometimes, when the pain is stinging or like tearing.
