I am now on full liquids, can anybody give me an idea of some of the things they enjoyed while at the stage. I'm already so tired of liquids. I just need a variety of things that I can have.

I am struggling with this (Surgery was 9/26) sugar free fruit Popsicles from Kroger were my lifesaver - the popsicle gave me some kind of texture to help me thru

Dr wants me on Liquids Phase till the end of next week before going to puree.

I had my sleeve surgery 4 days ago (oct 3). I'm not liking the full liquids stage much. I am eating protien shakes, no sugar added yogurt, and strained Soups. It's getting old fast. The thing I don't like is that I never feel really satified and am craving the bad foods I used to eat before surgery. ( I realize this could be head hunger). I thought those cravings would have gone away.

I am hopeful that once I start on mushed foods, I can start to feel satified.

Ok, so I am not alone in this. I am sooo hoping that this will pass! Just a few minutes ago I went and ate about 4 oz of strained Tomato Soup. I actually feel better..for now, satisfied. How are you feeling otherwise @@brather? I am doing good, except for thinking about food too much.

The cravings don't necessarily go away with surgery. It's in your head and they only operated on your stomach! Head hunger is brutal.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
