brather 7 Posted October 7, 2016 I am now on full liquids, can anybody give me an idea of some of the things they enjoyed while at the stage. I'm already so tired of liquids. I just need a variety of things that I can have. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
KristenLe 5,979 Posted October 7, 2016 @@brather Usually these things are allowed - but double check your plan. Creamed/strained Soups (tomato Soup, cream of broccoli (strained),etc), sugar free pudding, greek yogurt, Tomato juice / V8.

wheels121604 16 Posted October 8, 2016 (edited) Full liquids get old very quickly!! I was sleeved 9/26 too & my Dr moved me to a mash diet today! I was so excited because there are only so many things you can eat on a liquid diet lol. How much longer are you on a liquid diet? wheels121604 16 Posted October 8, 2016 Oh wow!! It's crazy how different everything is for each person! They told me next Friday I get to move to a regular bariatric diet. I don't know how you're going to do the liquid diet for so long!! Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App
The New Kel 1,312 Posted October 8, 2016 (edited) I had my sleeve surgery 4 days ago (oct 3). I'm not liking the full liquids stage much. I am eating protien shakes, no sugar added yogurt, and strained Soups. It's getting old fast. The thing I don't like is that I never feel really satified and am craving the bad foods I used to eat before surgery. ( I realize this could be head hunger). I thought those cravings would have gone away. I am hopeful that once I start on mushed foods, I can start to feel satified. I am sooo hoping that this will pass! Just a few minutes ago I went and ate about 4 oz of strained Tomato Soup. I actually feel better..for now, satisfied. How are you feeling otherwise @@brather? I am doing good, except for thinking about food too much.

It's in your head and they only operated on your stomach! Head hunger is brutal. Sent from my KFFOWI using the BariatricPal App
brather 7 Posted October 8, 2016 I feel pretty good also just very sore. I think about food all day, I know it's just a mental struggle and it's only head hunger but its frustrating not to be able to eat when my family eats. Just ready to get to mushy stage and not all liquids. @@The New Kel Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
