chukki 7 Posted October 6, 2016 (edited) I had that problem. I still only stayed in the hospital for 2 days. It was full days though. I had my surgery at 6 am Sept 21, 2016 and was not released until the 23rd at around 8 pm. A couple of tricks that I learned was to mostly sit straight up and keep a wet towel close by. When you feel that you are going to throw up, put the towel on the front of your neck. It doesn't always work, but it mostly does. I hope you get to go home soon. GoldenLife1991 18 Posted October 8, 2016 (edited) Update: I had my GS on Monday and could not keep liquids down. I was just released yesterday. I have IV at home because everything else was fine, but surgeon didn't want to take a chance on me being dehydrated and ending up back in the hospital . I tried flavor but anything sweet quickly cme back with a vengeance!???????????? Livin life like it's golden! A change is coming!!!!
