Need advice

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am hoping to get some advice. I am scheduled for fill tomorrow (#4)

my band feels tight in am...but by lunch and eve i am hungry. Can eat rice (1) c popcorn (3) c. Here is the deal have only lost about 1/2 pound in past 6 weeks. 6 days ago I got stuck on a pill (am) and vomited not pb'ed. The pill is about a third of an inch. I did the 2 days of liquids. the last 2fills (under flouro) they pull back the saline and put total of 3.8 cc before obstructing(i have 10 cc band). It is a 3 hour drive to get the fill. I feel frustrated and disappointed Not sure if should get fill or wait. Any advice would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

I would go ahead and get a fill since you can eat rice and popcorn and haven't really been losing. The pill thing was probably a fluke. I've been banded a year and a half... every once in a while, even though I'm not too tight something that usually doesn't give me any trouble will get "stuck." It doesn't happen too often. You'll start dropping weight when you get to a good fill level. It took me about 4 fills to do so.

Hope this helps.

I was 3 weeks out from fill 3 and had restriction in the am --- slimed at times and stuck at others -- chicken & tuna salads - I had to eat real slow and chew.

Labor day I was able to eat macaroni and bread -- so I called the Tues (next day) and got an appt for Thurs of same week - and mean while Tues and Wed I was getting slimed and uncomfortable when I ate to fast -- but the doc said I was loose - and gave me 1cc -- what a great difference that has made so far.

I was stuck bouncing 261-266 from 7/25 -- and finally I am losing again and not feeling HUNGRY!

For me -- it was the right choice!

some of the screwy formating that amp = & sign.
Paragraph and such.

I didn't put it there - but edited to correct spelling error and got all those extra characters out there.

:)

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
