charley27 164 Posted October 1, 2016 Where do you resell clothes?? I have a LOT to sell and don't want to list each piece individually. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
perspectiveiseverything 105 Posted October 1, 2016 ThreadUp is great - they send you giant bags to fill then you return them and they sort through each item and tell you how much they will pay you for it. You can get a check or credit from them to use towards you buying your next size. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Most were brand new with tags and they sold every item for a decent amount. I'll never do it again - I'd rather donate.
skinny_knees 55 Posted October 1, 2016 Find a local consignment shop. Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App
bia1nca1 38 Posted October 2, 2016 Clothes mentor is a consignment shop I have used and have received a little over $2000 by taking a few items twice a week. They specialize in designer items but will take other brands if gently used. They are always looking for plus size clothes that are in good condition. Lema 236 Posted October 2, 2016 You should put them together as entire outfits and then put the pictures up. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
charley27 164 Posted October 2, 2016 I was thinking of doing threadup but I feel like they won't give me what I feel I could get. There's WAY too much stuff to take pictures and post individually Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
higher 966 Posted October 2, 2016 I'm debating trying poshmark for some of my nicer pieces. Has anyone had luck with them?

chycky 671 Posted October 3, 2016 Always a good place to consider if you have something business/business casual to go to good cause: https://www.dressforsuccess.org/get-involved/donation-drives/
Autumn Fury 67 Posted October 3, 2016 I wish we could get a clothing exchange going at the local support groups. If it no longer fits then I'd be happy to donate it to someone who is going through the weight loss process with me.
