Where do you resell clothes?? I have a LOT to sell and don't want to list each piece individually. post-292413-14753497760591_thumb.jpg

ThreadUp is great - they send you giant bags to fill then you return them and they sort through each item and tell you how much they will pay you for it. You can get a check or credit from them to use towards you buying your next size.

I got about a $1 an item from ThredUp. Most were brand new with tags and they sold every item for a decent amount. I'll never do it again - I'd rather donate.

Clothes mentor is a consignment shop I have used and have received a little over $2000 by taking a few items twice a week. They specialize in designer items but will take other brands if gently used. They are always looking for plus size clothes that are in good condition.

I was thinking of doing threadup but I feel like they won't give me what I feel I could get. There's WAY too much stuff to take pictures and post individually

I'm debating trying poshmark for some of my nicer pieces. Has anyone had luck with them?

Following- have a bunch of nice pieces I would prefer to give/donate/sell other than Salvation Army or Goodwill.

Always a good place to consider if you have something business/business casual to go to good cause: https://www.dressforsuccess.org/get-involved/donation-drives/

I wish we could get a clothing exchange going at the local support groups. If it no longer fits then I'd be happy to donate it to someone who is going through the weight loss process with me.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
