wanna_be_thin 0 Posted September 30, 2016 I'm 8 months out and have lost 61 lbs. I thought it would of been more. I haven't lost any weight in over a month. How can I shake this up? I would like to loose 60 lbs more. Feeling very frustrated and helpless.
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted September 30, 2016 I'm 8 months out and have lost 61 lbs. I thought it would of been more. I haven't lost any weight in over a month. How can I shake this up? I would like to loose 60 lbs more. Feeling very frustrated and helpless. It is hard to know what to suggest without more information. Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. It is possible that you are just on a stall. Are you tracking your food? Are you following your food plan? Are you eating Protein first? What is your Protein target? Are you consuming at least that much every day? Are you drinking at least 64 oz of fluids. Are you avoiding starches, added sugars (especially high fructose corn syrup), and fried foods? Are you practicing mindful eating: eating slowly, taking small bites, and chewing thoroughly? Are you exercising? Are you eating enough to support your exercise? Have you talked to your NUT about your concerns? Pazza 199 Posted September 30, 2016 It can be very frustrating. I can understand feeling like you haven't lost enough. Try to focus more on what you have been able to do and loose. E.g. focus on how you've changed habits, relationship with food, able to do more etc. I'm trying to focus on how much more I can do on the elliptical, how much more consistent I've become with exercise and self control. What is your routine like? Protein? Fluids? Exercise? Sometimes shaking up a workout can be the change needed.
