How much do ya'll drink at a time?

I was just banded last week and was told to only sip and not drink too much. Was that just right after surgery? Can I drink normally now? We're at record high temps and no air conditioning and I'm dying. I want to down bottles of ice cold Water and am afraid. I'm also nursing my son still and need a LOT of water. What do I do? Right now every time I drink I get terrible gas pains in my shoulder. Help, help, help!

Unless you ate.

Drinking isn't restricted.. I guzzle bottles of Water at a time (we've been having record heat too!)

liquids should be going through your band with no problem, as long as you haven't eaten in the past hour.

i drink 24oz. in about 10 minutes. I drink 12-15cups of Water a day. no problem, unless i ate recently then it makes my food get stuck! then i slime

Hi Laura,

I'm not banded yet. I was just reading your signature and I was just wondering how the cc's disappear? Where does it go if it's in the band? Also, I didn't know we could drink Water without a problem. That makes me really happy since I get really thirsty!
