MissMellyMell 46 Posted October 2, 2016 You can also order online from the store that I go to here in Vancouver, Washington. Fusevapor.com they can make custom flavors and offer free shipping if you order 2 or more items. I was browsing the website last night and seen that they also have a 25% off coupon code right now! Hopefully you're able to find something that works for you! Today is day 9 of being smoke free for me! I feel better and smell better lol! Good luck! Lizardlady 90 Posted October 8, 2016 Wow, my surgeon actually let me keep vaping. I specifically asked him and he said it's fine. I asked because there was a part on one of the papers I had to sign for surgery where I had to agree not to smoke and I didn't sign it. I vaped right up till I walked in the hospital for surgery. No issues but maybe there is a reason for it?

Nana1222 159 Posted November 27, 2016 Hi I quit smoking on Oct 31st will I be ok if they test me in two weeks? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
ella37 455 Posted November 28, 2016 I must be the odd man out here, my surgeon didn't do a nicotine test and knows I'm a smoker. He said that with my age and BMI I wasn't a high risk patient and I should try to quit but it wasn't going to matter. Maybe because I was self pay? I know all docs are different. olivejuice 32 Posted November 29, 2016 I don't have any nicotine requirements but I quit in the 90's anyway. Not sure about marijuana. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
kayshabear 44 Posted December 2, 2016 Has anybody's surgeries demanded a zero nic text just 12 days before surgery? I don't know what to do. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Sorry Surgeon Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Yes my doctor requires a nicotine test but he told me up front at my initial appt so I had to quit. It is worth it though to regain our health and there are so many complications that can occur if you smoke before and after surgery since it affects your bodies ability to heal.
