Fredbear 397 Posted September 30, 2016 Got the Flu and Pnemonia shots last week. Came down with the flu the next day, I have awesome luck. I know that the shots are a non-active version of the latest predicted virus (didn't cause it). I was lucky enough to be incubating the rotten bastard of a bug at the time I got the shots. Congratulations on being smart enough to realize that! Too many people have no idea how infection really works. Others call every little cold "the 'flu". ShelterDog64 2,364 Posted October 3, 2016 I grew up thinking every bad cold/sinus/stomach thing was 'the flu'. Never got my flu shot, because I'd had 'the flu' and it wasn't all that bad! Then, I actually got THE FLU. I was IN BED for a week, unable to do more than go to the toilet, and then walking around the house sick for 14+ days. I've never missed a flu shot since, and have never been sick with it again. I think way too many people think they've had flu when they haven't. After actually having it, I understand how kids and elderly people die from it. Get your shot...herd immunity is marvelous
