Traveling after surgery

Hi All. My last appointment with my dietitian will be November 4th. I hear that November and December are very busy for Insurance companies and may not even be approved for over a month??? I'm hoping to go to Mexico on vacation January 1st with a few friends. I think I'm being optimistic, but if anyone can tell me some good news they have experienced with insurance companies or will I be watching them surf on the beach through social media? I need to have my surgery by the end of year because my insurance may change per HR.

You also have to consider the surgeon's schedule. I had to wait 4 weeks to get on schedule.

Oh wow! I'm praying because I have to get my surgery by the end of the year. I will cancel the girls trip I have planned.

Talk to your surgeon's office about the need for surgery before end of year - maybe they'll schedule you before your approval. At least get on the books.

I tried and they will not schedule me until I'm approved. I spoke to them today

My surgeon said no travel/flying for 6-8 weeks. I was also they are super busy at end of year for those who have met deductibles. Good luck.
