sandralala 5 Posted September 27, 2016 I'm 6 weeks post-op and for the last 3, I've been getting a headache at around the same time each day. Had two blood tests and I'm not dehydrated. Anyone have any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
KristenLe 5,979 Posted September 27, 2016 @@sandralala Vitamin D deficiency, Vitamin B12 deficiency ?? Did they check your vitamin levels? Are you eating something at that time that may be causing an allergy?
sandralala 5 Posted September 27, 2016 @@KristenLe all Vitamins are good. We had to get our d levels up before surgery and I've been really good with the supplements post surgery. Maybe I will try to switch up the Protein and see if the Isopure is causing it. That is the only thing that I've had regularly as far as food/drink. KristenLe 5,979 Posted September 27, 2016 @@sandralala My allergies (environmental) have been really bad the last few weeks - it may just be something like that and not WLS related. Hope you figure it out!
sandralala 5 Posted September 27, 2016 Thanks @@KristenLe! I've never been allergic to anything in my life. Figures something like that would start now of all times. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Caribear 184 Posted September 27, 2016 Where is your headache? Is it across your forehead, at the back of your head, or all over? Are you having any other symptoms?

Caribear 184 Posted September 27, 2016 Sounds like a tension headache. Are you back to work?
sandralala 5 Posted September 27, 2016 Yes @caribear. I went back to work 2 weeks post op. I run a pizza place, so it's not like I'm sitting in front of a computer. The headaches are on my days off as well. I will just tell my husband that I require neck rubs more often now If my doctor would just give me back my ibuprofen, this wouldn't be an issue. Caribear 184 Posted September 27, 2016 That's a good way to make a bad situation good I would try stretching your neck when you can, and try a different Protein Drink. It can't hurt. I also always recommend a good massage therapist, as long as you have clearance from your surgeon.
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted September 28, 2016 Sounds like a stress headache to me. My suggestions: Rest. Stretching. Exercise. Relaxation. Massage. A new job!
