shrinkingstacy 15 Posted September 29, 2016 Trust me if something is leaking its better than it staying in I had a drain 2 days in the hospital with very little in the bulb, I got it out came home and got seromas on 3 of my incisions One was so large they had to reopen my incision and press as the Fluid squirted out about 50cc. The idea is for the Fluid to come out as long as the doctor is aware let it leak
Bhca8201 56 Posted September 30, 2016 Has anybody dealt with postop pain over a week out? It's like a sharp pulling feeling near the belly button that radiates to the lower left side of the abdomen and the left leg? Should I be concerned? Nikkicee 3 Posted October 1, 2016 @@Bhca8201 My surgeon told me that can be normal, however, if it is concerning, address with your surgeon. Pain can sometimes indicate infection (usually associated with redness as well), so reaching out to your surgeon may be a good idea so they can further assess you. hotmamma1979 42 Posted October 12, 2016 Question about when the doctor pulls the drain out. How bad does it hurt? Or what does it feel like? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Bhca8201 56 Posted October 12, 2016 It did not hurt at all! I was so surprised, I didn't even know he did it till he said he was done. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App

Redmaxx 740 Posted November 9, 2016 I never had a "drain" so I am not really sure what you are talking about. Sorry.
