When you had your revision (if it was one procedure removing band and converting to rny) did you have to stay overnight or was this an outpatient procedure?

My band was outpatient. Since I have a 3 year old, I'm hoping for outpatient again. My mother-in-law acted like I was nuts when I told her I thought it was outpatient. Am I crazy? Lol.

Well, maybe I should not have assumed. Lol. Surgeon said my recovery would be just like my band. I guess I have a new question to ask. Lol. My list won't notice one more.

My revision was overnight stay. Insurance approved 3-4 days. But I did great and wanted to be in my own bed. Oh, and the band removal and RNY was all one surgery. Took 2 hrs. 5 laparoscopic incisions.
