I had my drain taken out this morning (2 days post op) it hurt coming out and felt wierd but I was glad to get it out cause I hated having it hanging from me.. not a good feeling but it's over quickly

I had hiatal hernia repair and sleeve. My drain was removed after 24 hrs and I didn't have any soreness or discomfort during or after. Self pay n stayed two nights in the hospital.

I had a drain in for 3 days (while I was in the hospital) it's another way to detect leaks in your sleeve.

I have a drain, we are required to keep it 7 days. It's how they check for leaks in my gut. It was 2 weeks when I started the program this summer but that changed.

Go on obesity.com it tells you about day one all the way up to week six and after what you should expect or what may or may not happen that is my second bible
