Anyone over 60 years?

I am 39 and year out from gastric bypass surgery. I am doing great and have lost 145. My mom really needs to do something but she keeps telling me she is too old. She is only 64. I know it would really help her. Is there anyone in that age group that could share their story for her?

I am 64, not too old! All my docs have been very encouraging.

I am 64, the longer we wait the less healthy we become. I was 301# in August. I now weigh 267# with 4 weeks until my sleeve surgery. I am ready to live a healthier life and maybe a longer happier life. On another positive note my husband who has diabetes has lost 20lbs because I cook different.

I am 69 and had my bypass done Nov 1, 2016. I am very glad I did. Great Surgeon and no problems. Go for it.
