Kelliebelly 13 Posted September 3, 2007 Ahhhh. No I dont think it is a problem. Our bodies are going though huge changes. Surgery, weight loss, changed eating patterns and hormones all over the place. I havent really ever had a continual high sex drive. I go in spurts. I will want it every night for a week and then not again for another month. It has only been 6 or so weeks since your surgery, give it time. Your body is probably still in shik. Once things level out I am sure it will come back.
voodookitty 0 Posted September 4, 2007 I have no sex drive at the best of times. I'm one of those people that could pretty much be happy with a quarterly romp. My dh and I are hoping this changes things somewhat as I havent always been like this.
catzintj 1 Posted September 7, 2007 im just the opposite. huge sex drive. my hormone levels are mostly normal, but i have higher than normal testosterone. maybe get your levels checked. my sister takes testosterone in small dose and that gave her more sex drive. also check your thyroid. you may need a little boost there too. good luck
Daisalana 33 Posted September 7, 2007 I kind of went back and forth. Pre-op, my sex drive was going down and down. But I do have hormonal problems, and figured it had to do with that and the fact I knew I was gaining weight and becoming grossly fat!!!! After surgery, I was like a rabbit. I lost a lot of weight in the first month, and it did wonders (and I was off my b/c which supposedly regulates my hormones.. I wonder now!).. After the first month, weight loss stalled during bandster hell and I started back on b/c. I'm back to being able to take or leave sex. Leave more so, because I'm tired or don't feel like putting the energy into it. I am curious too who you ask, I couldn't ask my surgeon about my sex drive (He PRAYS with me!!), and some reason I'm not comfortable asking my gyno either. bitteroldhag 0 Posted September 8, 2007 What sex drive? I haven't had a sex drive in years. I guess I'm too old for that stuff. It just takes too much energy. Luckily, I'm single. It would be a major drag if I were married since many men sort of expect that sort of thing.
