mrstkgreene 48 Posted September 25, 2016 I need to get a multi Vitamin... I don't want a huge pill that I have to swallow. I want a Gummy or chewable or something that is going to go down safely. Recommendations? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
sanjb1 1 Posted September 25, 2016 There is a Vitamin called bariatric advantage and it is a chewable. You take it 2 times a day and it has all the Vitamins you need except Calcium. So you don't have to take a bunch of pills to get the different Vitamins required because they are all in there. So easy. Just 2 vitamins during the day and 1 Calcium at night. Bufflehead 6,358 Posted September 25, 2016 I used Wellesse liquid multi-vitamins for the first several weeks. I took a double dose, one in the morning, one at night. I eventually switched to Trader Joe's chewable High Potency Multi-Vitamins. For the first several months, 2x/day, then switched to one per day. I've had my labs drawn throughout and they have always been great. Both Wellesse and Trader Joe's are cheaper, lower calorie, and lower carb than any bariatric specialty Vitamins, which are, IMO, basically formulated to be fake candy with vitamins added in. _Kate_ 2,224 Posted September 25, 2016 I used Centrum Advantage chewables for the first 6 months. Then I went onto tablets. My bloods have aways been perfect.

sarcruze 24 Posted September 26, 2016 I am currently taking Centrum chewables but they recently changed their Iron dosage from 18 to 8 so now I have to buy something else. My bariatrician said the equate Multivitamin and Flintstones chewables are good. As long as they have 100% of Thiamin, Vitamin B12, Iron, folic acid, zinc, and Biotin.
