QueenOfTheTamazons 634 Posted October 5, 2016 We flew Southwest to Las Vegas for our wedding this time last year, both of us at least 375. We were told that if the flight was near full and if we overflowed into the other seat we would have to purchase an additional ticket. We were given the option of buying the tickets then or waiting and trying the seatbelts. We opted to try the seat belt and we're able to make it work with an extender. Technically I was not able to latch the seat belt but I tucked it down the side and nobody actually checked . The flight full but we were not required to buy an additional ticket.
