purplemonkey 1 Posted September 14, 2007 Barb, that's just sort of what mine feels like. it's bulged a bit and been sore the last 3 months with my period...of course that's when i started birth control pills to get regular. But what were your hernia symptoms? or didn't you have anything other than the bulge. Is it the bariatric surgeon that goes back in and takes care of that? and how is the recovery time. stillllllllllllllll waiting to hear something from my nurse practitioner. Sugarbear 2 Posted September 15, 2007 Hello Marchies. Haven't posted here in a while, but looks like everone is doing well. I had an accident 2 weeks ago. Fell on some slick steps, broke my leg pretty badly, had surgery, been laid up ever since. Can't put ANY weight on my leg yet. This is getting really old. I go back to the surgeon Thurs. hopefully he will cast it and I can get on the road to recovery. Not losing any weight either, but I had to reschedule my appt. for my fill, due to the leg thing. Hopefully the next fill will be "it." Take care everyone.

Mrs Husker 3 Posted September 17, 2007 Virginia
I don't think I had any other symptoms. It was the same doctor that did my band that fixed my hernia. Good luck to ya.

tm1019 0 Posted September 17, 2007
WOW!!!!! Tammy you look great. I look reading all the posts. I don't respond much. I had my 4th fill last Monday. I have PB'd about 5 times this week vs. 2 times in 6 months. I think I finally have the restriction I have been hearing about. I'm happy but a little scared. I'm not sure why. I've lost 33 pounds since March 16 and have about 30 to go.

Good luck to eveyone.

Khanson 0 Posted September 18, 2007 Hey everyone, it has been since the end of July. School really took a toll on my online activity. I am truely depressed, I did so well after the first couple of months, but these last two months have been gut renching. I have gained and lost and stayed the same. I really don't know what I am doing wrong, I am exersiceing and I try to watch what I eat. Things just arn't coming off. I know I know it takes time, but gosh I'm at a stuck place............ OH Juli 15 Posted September 18, 2007 Khanson That's so hard. I feel for you. Ugh! How frustrating. Well, I can tell you what a well meaning soul told me when I hit a plateau and was complaining about it. She asked if eating more would help me lose, and I answered no. She asked if exercising less would get me over my hump and I told her she was crazy and no way. So she look at me with compassion and said, "Sounds like you need to dig a little deeper and work your way through this." It may come across as harsh in type and even when I share the story with people they are like, "what a bitqch" But she's not a sarcastic person and she's has seen her share of struggles so she comes from a good place of understanding. So, maybe you can find that reserve and dig your heels in deep and eat a little less or move a little more or be more structured in how you track your activities and you will beat the weight off your body. You can and you will. Good luck to you and come back here for all the support you need.
