Gerri918 23 Posted September 22, 2016 Sorry that I am so blunt. But I am constantly peeing. It started with the PreOp liquid diet and no sooner then I was out of surgery, I was peeing. Anyone else experience this? I guess this isn't a bad thing but my goodness. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

lizardqueen 56 Posted September 23, 2016 I know it's a pain. It that's a good thing. It's also the way the body rids itself if fats and toxins. Be glad!! My doc said I should be going atleast 6 to 10 times a day. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Gerri918 23 Posted September 23, 2016 That is about how much I was going. It just slowed down this afternoon. It must be toxins. TMI alert, I've had an vaginal order for over a year that I would have to wear a poise to help with the odor. It was strong and me embarrassing. A few days after being on the liquid detox, i noticed the odor disappeared. Also, I no longer need to wear liners. Amazing what eliminating foods will do. I hope I continue to pee although it's in annoying. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Gerri918 23 Posted September 23, 2016 I'm not sure if you were in the same liquid detox as I but my doctor had me drinking 1 16 oz of Benefiber a day and taking tums 2wice a day. I had to do this 8 days prior to my surgery this past Monday. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
tiff291 45 Posted September 23, 2016 I just had surgery less than 24 hours ago and I've been going pretty much every 15-30 mins. Even after I got discharged, I made sure I peed before we left the hospital. We live over an hour away from the hospital and I had to stop to pee less than halfway into the drive. By the time we were 15 mins away from home I had to go again but I held it until we got home. Our apartment is on the third floor. Everyone was worried about me going up 3 flights of stairs but I had no trouble at all because I was so focused on making it to the bathroom before I had an accident Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Havasumoma 250 Posted September 23, 2016 You all have me worried. I have been practicing drinking over 64oz a day and I feel like I'm in the bathroom every other 5 minutes. If it's worse after surgery I'm going to have to bed down in the bathroom with some good books. ???? The Candidate 3,215 Posted September 23, 2016 I had a catheter in the hospital. It's quite normal to be peeing like a race horse this early out.
