jmarruda 22 Posted September 7, 2007 spinning - class with stationary bikes and instructor creating a "ride" for you. Bikes have tension knobs, when going down a hil, no resistance and fast pace, when riding up a hill, high tension, slower pace, coming up off the saddle at times. Very challenging, but also great for a beginner because we can go at our own pace. There is a spinning thread going on in the exercise forum, and there is a much better definition of spinning there!
