GBaygurl 29 Posted September 22, 2016 So I've almost reached my goal before gastric bypass and had to have my EGD procedure. My surgeon found a pea sized nodule in my esophagus that he says is usually a benign leiomyoma. I have to go back and see a gastroenterologist to have them biopsy it. I'm scared and nervous as hell. Anybody else had a similar issue? Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using the BariatricPal App 1 hillarycatlin reacted to this

futurefeatherweight 64 Posted September 22, 2016 During my EGD, they found a polyp in my stomach and biopsied it. My surgeon reassured me that it had a benign appearance but I still worried some until the pathology report came back.
GBaygurl 29 Posted September 22, 2016 Thanks for that. Yeah he said it looked benign as well but I can't help but worry. I don't have any symptoms of anything else Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using the BariatricPal App
