Hungry or Not?

I wish I had that problem of not getting hungry. For me it got 10x worse. My doctor said its normal because we are eating small amounts so we will get hungry more often. The worse is when i get up to pee in the middle of the night. The hunger pains won't let me go back to sleep. And the hunger pains are magnified too. But on a good note since I'm eating small amounts every 2 hours, that is speeding up my metabolism. I'm losing an average of 3-4 pounds a week and honestly in the 12 weeks of classes I took through Kaiser I never heard of people not getting hungry w the sleeve. We also had to go to support groups and it seems like everyone i met was like me. I guess it's nice to hear everyone has different experiences so you won't be surprised or disappointed on your experiences

      Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
      What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
