brimm_brittany 45 Posted September 20, 2016 So I had bypass on 8/17 I've had a pretty normal surgery, nothing wrong. Post op I was doing okay, having a little bit of trouble getting fluids in. Fast forward to this past week or so I've been feeling nauseous all the time, every time I eat I feel pain/sick afterwards. I have moderate pain on my right side (near my upper back) that comes and goes a few times a day, vomiting whenever I do eat, pain in my upper abdomen a few times a day, and my stool turned to this very pale almost white color (not to be gross lol) I'm at a loss as to what's going on with me...or is it normal? /: ❤️8/17/
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted September 20, 2016 Sounds like a question for your surgeon. Have you called them?
James Marusek 5,244 Posted September 20, 2016 You may have developed a stricture or an ulcer. Here is a link but you can search the internet for more information. http://bariatric.stopobesityforlife.com/obesity-surgery/correcting-obesity/bariatric-surgery-risks/ulcers-or-strictures/
shedo82773 1,236 Posted September 20, 2016 It is real common to have problems with your Gallbladder if you still have it. Like James said you could have developed a Stricture also. Please contact your uregon. I know I went thru Strictures and it isn't comfortable at all.
